Alice W. Marshall, 90, of Clinton, TN., passed away at her home Monday, January 7, 2019.  Mrs. Marshall was born on November 9, 1928 to Mahlon and Lethie Poe Winstead. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Clinton. In earlier years and when she was able to attend, she enjoyed working in the church and singing in the choir.  Mrs. Marshall is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Parley "Butch" Madewell, husband Joseph B. Marshall, and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by two sons Roger (Sandra) Madewell and Ron (Rhonda) Madewell, grandchildren Christina (Clint) Ownby, Christopher Madewell, Michael Higginbotham, and Kimberly (Matt) Dalton, great granddaughters Ava Paige Ownby and Shiloh, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:00am-1:00pm in the chapel of Woodhaven Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1pm, with Pastor Kenny Rains officiating. Interment will follow in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
