JAY BROOKS

Arthur James (Jay) Brooks Jr., age 55, of Knoxville, Tn., passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. Born in Niles, Michigan, he was the son of the late A.J. Brooks Sr. and Bobbie Brooks. He enjoyed watching TV, drag racing, old cars, and woodworking.  He loved his motorcycle, boating, and Bob Seger,   His greatest accomplishment in life was being a PopPop.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother R.J. Brooks.

Jay is survived by his wife Kathy Brooks, children A.J.(Cha'Tara) Brooks, Tabatha (Tim) Brooks, Robin (Austin) Gibson, Jacob (Ashley) Brooks, Josh Brooks, his "favorite child" his furbaby Haley, grandchildren Addy, Sky, Ali, Gabby, a brother Gary Brooks, sisters Jeannie Breeden and Sherry Brooks-England, and best friend Tony Moore.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 3:00PM until 7:00PM in the chapel of Woodhaven Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 7:00PM. The graveside service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 2:00 PM in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
