Arthur (Buddy) Randles Brakebill 77 of Clinton, went to be with his heavenly father on Thursday August 22, 2024. He was born February 25, 1947. Buddy was a proud member of the 1st. Cavalry, serving with them in Vietnam. After serving his country he became a detective with the Knoxville Police Department. Later becoming a HVAC technician, teaching his three sons the trade along the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; Clifford and Bonnie Brakebill, and his wife Johnnie (Baker) Brakebill. He is survived by his sisters; Fredia (Ray), Barbara (Earl), his children; Robby (Melissa), Tony (Erika), Michele (Clayton), Brad (Miranda), Daniel (Terra), along with many grandkids and great grandkids. Family will receive friends August 28, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service to follow at Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 160 Edgemoor Rd. in Powell. Pastor Dustin Martin officiating. Internment service will be held 11 a.m. August 29, 2024 at Bishopville Cemetery located at 912 W. Raccoon Valley Rd. in Powell with military honors.
