Barbara Jean Carter Burgett, of Powell, TN., passed away at her residence December 4, 2018.  She was born in Ann Arbor, MI., and was the daughter of the late Charles and Vivian Walker Carter.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Jim Burgett, sons Richard (Tracie) Burgett of Powell, TN. and Bryan (Dorothy) Burgett of Northville, MI., five grandchildren, and one brother Charles (Doris) Carter.
