Barbara Faye Foster , 81, of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, September 07, 2021.  Barbara was born May 15, 1940 to John & Hattie Holbrook in Andrson County, TN.   She was a member of the Church of Christ.  She enjoyed traveling, geography, history, and political science.  Barbara had a special place and love for her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Bobby Lewis Foster; and her brother, Benjamin Franklin Holbrook.

Barbara is survived by her children and spouses, Karen & David Knapp, John & Norma Foster, and Angela Beth & Shawn Lynch; her 5 grandchildren, Michael Simmons, Marlee Simmons, Rachel Foster, Brandon Foster, Melody Simmons; 3 great grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.   In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate money to K.A.R.M. (Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries) in Barbara Foster's name.
