Barbara Ann Kunst (Morehead) age 68, of Rogersville, Tennessee formally from Clinton, Tennessee, died peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2025.Barbara had a deep love of the outdoors and enjoyed walking among the wildflowers she grew on her property.Barbara had two lovely children, Michael and Amanda. With Michael residing in Mandeville, Louisiana, and Amanda who resides with her mother in heaven along with first husband and father of her children, David L. Morehead. She also leaves behind her long-term companion and mate, Robert L. Kunst. Barbara had a love for the pest control industry which first came to her when she worked for Blue Diamond Exterminating Company. Where she was in charge of getting licensing approval in multiple states and foreign countries. It was in this position where she met Robert Kunst with which she worked building their small pest control company into a major multistate corporation, It was at this time that she moved to Mandeville, Louisiana where she made many friends and enjoyed life until she returned to Rogersville to retire.Barbara worked diligently with many pest control operators and chemical companies providing advice and service to them. She was also active in various pest control associations helping members grow their businesses as well as being and active participant on pest control association boards of directors becoming the first woman to serve on the Tennessee pest control board of directors.With all this she was still an active mother and grandmother, leaving behind: four grandchildren: Lucas Morehead, Orin Whitaker, and Mathew & David Reeves.She will be sadly missed by her surviving siblings; brother, Denny Phillips; sisters, Pat Sharp and her spouse Gary, Connie and her spouse Bobby Fain, Linda and her spouse Bobby Glenn.Missing her will also be her nieces and nephews, Kathy and (David) Haun, Jason and (Christina) Sharp, Brandi (Michael) Earles, Brittney (Cody) Armstrong, and Jeremy Keen. Along with many great nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN. There will also be a service held at Christian-Sells Funeral Home at a later date.
