Barbara Saylor Bolinger McCown , 80, of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.  Barbara was born to Carroll Saylor & Monell Grant on Christmas Eve 1940 in Coalfield, KY.  She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed gardening and her church, Crown of Glory Pentecostal.

She is predeceased by her parents, Carroll & Monell Saylor; and her fist husband, James Bolinger.

Barbara is survived by her second husband of 30 years, Steve McCown; her two sons and their wives, Randy & Susan Bolinger and Jamie & Patty Bolinger; 3 grandchildren, Alex Bolinger, Zach Bolinger, and Lexie Bolinger; her cousin and son, Lois Hamm & Shawn Hamm; plus four other cousins, Bud Saylor, LaWanda Saylor Hail, Leo Walters, and Bruce Walters; and a host of other family members and friends.

A one hour visitation will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home.  The Interment shall begin immediately following the funeral service in the Garden of Devotion at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
