Betty Kay Scruggs, 58, of Clinton, TN, went home to the Lord on Saturday November 07, 2015. Betty was an amazing home maker, an avid painter and gardener and always enjoyed a good yard sale.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Hazel Pennington, brothers Wayne Pennington and Gary Pennington; and her son James Ray Young.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, whom she has known for 26 years, Gregory Scruggs; her children James Pennington and Shirley Young; her brothers Lloyd Pennington, Steve (Kim) Pennington and Walter (Becky) Pennington; granddaughter Julia Young; and more grandchildren who live out of state; plus many dear friends that she loved so much.
Receiving of family and friends will be at 1:00pm on Friday November 13, 2015, at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849. Pastor Chris Jobe will lead the Funeral Service at 2:00pm and then everyone will meet at Graveside after the funeral service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
