Sutton, Bill J., age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. He lived most of his younger years in Jamestown, later Bill served a four year tour with the US Air Force. After he returned he moved to Oak Ridge where he worked at all four of the nuclear facilities. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Florence Sutton. He is survived by his daughters Beverly Hutto and husband Joe, Diana Whitten and husband Johnathan; son Steve Sutton and wife Lesley; granddaughters Fiona Whitten, Kelsey Sutton and Caitlin Sutton; brothers Al Sutton and wife Shirley, Gordon Sutton and wife Troy; sisters Jean Potter and husband Bill, Wanda Alley, Peggy Jo Presnell and husband Jerry; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shriners Hospital www.shrinershospitals.org and St. Jude Hospital www.stjude.org .The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 10:00am-12:00pm with service at 12:00pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home.
