Obituary
Billie "Bill" Joe Griffith, 77, of the Claxton Community passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 after a short illness at NHC Oak Ridge. He was friendly, loving and had a big smile. Bill enjoyed working with his friends at Emory Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents Viola and Jack Griffith; and his brothers Robert "Bob" Griffith and Ralph "Butch" Griffith.
Bill is survived by his loving sisters, Marie Edwards of Oliver Springs, Judy Daniels of Rockwood, Ann (Don) Davis of Clinton and Jane Griffith of Claxton; his brother Richard Griffith of Georgia; his sister-in-law Phyllis Griffith of Oak Ridge; many nieces and nephews; and his special Caregiver Brenda Keene.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 1:00pm -2:00pm with Service at 2:00pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Rd. Claxton, TN 37849. Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Garvin Walls will officiate all services.
