Smith, Brenda G., age 52, of Claxton, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at her home. She was affiliated with Shepherd''s Chapel, and was employed at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Ruby Posey; brothers, Danny, Johnny, Jimmy and Jack Posey; sister, Alma Jane Posey. Brenda is survived by her husband, Bill Smith; sons and daughters-in law, Benji and Davina Smith, Shawn and Shannon Smith; grandchildren, Colby, Cadence, Sidney and Evan; sisters, Ocie Talbot, Wanda Newell, Glenda Depew; nieces, Melissa Knaff and Kim Manning; "Mamaw" to Jamison Hembree, Savannah Barnes, Jaelyn Knaff and Jacob Knaff; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends, co-workers from MMC. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday, August 28, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service following at 7:00 pm with Pastor Greg Long, Officiating.
