Obituary

Kelly, Carl Richard Jr., 62 of Clinton, passed away March 11m 2013. He was retired from UT Police Department and had served as an Anderson County Deputy Sherriff. He graduated from UT with his Masters Degree and was pursuing his PhD. Carl was actively involved in competitive shooting and was an expert marksman in both handguns and shotguns. He was a member of ORSA since 1985, Morristown trap shooting club, and a proud member of the NRA. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl R., Sr. and Eddie Kelly. Carl is survived by his cousins John Kelly and his wife Julia, Carl Kelly and his wife Evelyn, Mary Howell, Carolyn Smith, Robert Kelly, Tom Kelly and his wife Lana Flo, Adam Kelly and his wife Josephine; Special Friends, Gina and Mike Wesley and their children Brittainy and Haden, members of Edgemoor Baptist Church, Anderson County Sheriff''s Office, Knox County Sheriff''s Office, Oak Ridge Sportsman Association, Morristown Trap Club. Family will be receiving friends Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 11:00am-1:00pm with a 1:00pm Funeral Service at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
