Ellis, Carol Jane Richardson Disney, age 69, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010, at her home. She was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Disney, Jr. and William C. Ellis; parents, Earl Richardson and Anna Mae Lundquist; sister, Brenda Gail Woods. Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Disney Hall and husband Roger of Kentucky and Denise Jane Shelton and husband Randy of Ohio; son, James Disney & wife Dusty of Clinton; sisters, Grace Terrell Amburgey, Wanda Deaton, Sharon Hayden, and Joni Connelly; brothers, Roger, Danny and Wade Richardson, Douglas Lundquist; step-mother, Frances Richardson; special friends, Pete Harris, Joyce Willis and their families. The family wishes to convey a special "Thank You" to Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care. Visitation will be Friday, January 8, from 6-8pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will gather for graveside services Saturday, January 9, at 2pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA through the animal shelter of your choosing.
