Balch, Charles "Ronny", age 68 of Crown Point, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Porter Memorial Hospital. He attended Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church. Ronny is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Doris Ann Balch; parents, Carbin Lacy and Frances Balch. He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Ann (Justin) Law of Knoxville; son, Charles Gary Balch of Crown Point, IN; brothers, Ray (Carolyn) Balch of Lenoir City, Danny (Laureen) Balch of Chesterton, IN, David (Kim) Balch of Zionsville, IN, Larry Balch of Chesterton, IN; sister, Janice Vandevender of Lenoir City; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends; special long time family friend, Sharon Selerno of Crown Point, IN. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Sunday, June 7, at Woodhaven Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, Pastor Brad McCoy, officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 am Monday, June 8, 2009, for an 11:00 am graveside service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
