Charles Henry Moretz, Sr., 87 , of Clinton, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018.  He was born August 6, 1930 to Ralph and Verlia Moretz in Detroit, Michigan.  He was of the Lutheran faith.  Charles was in the Navy serving in both the Korean and the Vietnam Wars. He was also an Electrician.  He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and carpentry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Verlia Moretz; four brothers, Ralph Moretz Jr., John Moretz, Paul Moretz, and Roy Moretz.

Charles  is survived by his wife,  Marietta Moretz; daughter Charmaine Giles; his sons, Charles Moretz Jr., Darrell Moretz, Carl Moretz, and Calvin Moretz; four sisters; seven brothers;  five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm with the Funeral Service to follow.  Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 am. Franklin Eppinette will officiate the service at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
