Patton, Charles Evertt, age 71 of Clinton passed away at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 7, 2012. His was of the Baptist faith, long time local Mechanic here in the area and loved his time on the CB Radio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther & Claudia Parks Patton, Brothers and sister-in-laws; Clarence and Ruby Patton. Earl Patton and William and Elizabeth Patton. Sisters and Brother-in-law; Neomi and Herman Phipps and Clara Mae Hensen. He is survived by his wife Patricia Patton, Daughter; Angela Patton of Clinton. Son; Clayton Williams of Clinton. Sister; Maryanna Blankenship and husband Oscar of Livingston Tn. Sister-in-law; Mary Jewel Patton of Clinton. Special friends, Austin Smith and Roy Smith. All the workers at Scotties (Restaurant). Special Friend, Floyd Madron and all his CB buddies who knew him as (Grease Monkey). The family will receive friends from 5pm til 7pm on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Woodhaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Terry Braden will officiate. In lieu of flowers gifts may be given to the family.
