Charlotte Jernigan Keathley, age 92, of Oak Ridge, TN, died April 9, 2023. She was born in Livingston TN and was the daughter of the late William Grover Jernigan and Callie Ethel Cook. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Alvin Keathley, brothers Bill, Kenneth, Harold, and Joe Jernigan and sister Mary Stout Rose and Peggy Jarnigan.  She was a 1948 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She later worked for ORTECH and Oak Ridge National Laboratory for over 25 years.

Mrs. Keathley is survived by her daughter Charlotte (Newton) Molloy and her son Terry (Becca) Keathley; grandchildren, Megan Molloy, Austin (Carissa) Keathley, and Hannah Keathley; great grandson Haiden Keathley; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Keathley was an active member of the United Church, Chapel on the Hill. Charlotte had many talents: sewing, beading, Quilting, stitching, knitting, and jewelry making. She created the Sew for Hope ministry at her church that provided hats, pillows, and drainage bags for cancer patients. She was also very involved in making CHRISMONS for the Church Christmas Tree, and the Prayer Shawl Ministry.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 9-10:30 AM, at United Church, Chapel on the Hill

The Rev. Suzanne Blokland and The Rev. Dr. Randy Hammer will officiate.

Burial will be at Woodhaven's Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 1 PM.

The family would like to thank Charlotte's wonderful church family who have been so supportive to her. Also, her close friends and her care givers at CNS Cares and Amedicis Hospice for their care and for their love.
