Miller, Clarence Edward, age 90, passed away peacefully at his home November 1, 2013. He was a member of Laural Branch Baptist Church of Briceville; retired from Union Carbide in 1982. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from the US Naval Reserve. He was a Master Mason, member of the Crystal Lodge #616 and The Kerbella Shine of Knoxville, TN. HE is preceded in death by wife, Winifred Huckaby; son, Jerry S. Taylor. Survivors include his daughters, Judy K & Doug Kelley of Claxton, Becky & Dewey Walker of Clinton, Sara Hutchison of Briceville; son, John L. & Pam Miller of Knoxville; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Special thanks to caregivers, Connie Eno, Sherry Nelson, Ethelene Walker, James & Sharon Brady; special friend, Sandra Shassere. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, November 3, 2013, with military honors provided by East TN Veterans Honor Guard at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Buster Gresham, officiating.
