Clesie Overton, 75, of Powell, TN., passed away Thursday, November 08, 2018, at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Clesie was born June 23, 1943 to Howard & Doris Lloyd. She was a hairdresser.  Clesie was a member of the Anderson County Eastern Stars and of North Clinton Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Clayton Lloyd; sister Cathy Coley; and special friend Bill Lafloyette.

Clesie is survived by her two children and their spouses, Regina & Rodney Barnes, and Monty & Sheila Overton; her brother, Clarince & Hope Lloyd; Sister-in-law, Nancy Lloyd; four grandchildren, Gabby Barnes, Grayce Barnes, Gavin Barnes, and Gabe Overton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00PM.  Graveside service will be Monday, November 12, 2018 at 12:00PM.  All services are at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN. 37849.
