Darlene Hartwick, 75, affectionately known as Cricket, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 01, 2022 at Centerfield of Oak Ridge.  Born June 16, 1946 in Logan, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Samuel Frye and Emmazette Ramsey Frye.  She worked in Loss Prevention for 15 years between Kmart and JcPenney.  She enjoyed working in the yard and spending time outdoors enjoying God's creation.  Cricket loved spending time with her family and friends.  She always had a smile on her face and a dance in her step.

Preceded in death by her sister, Delcie Lighthall; and brothers, Kelly and Dallas Frye.  Survivors include her son, Charles D. (Kelly) Curton; three grandchildren, Alyssa (Justin) Slone, Andrew (Amanda) Curton; and Nickolas Curton; her sister Doris Riddle; and other family and friends.

Graveside Service for immediate family will be held Monday, February 07, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel Garden at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.  The family plans to have a Celebration of Life scheduled in June to honor their mother and grandmother.
