Turner, Daytona C. Woods, age 85, of Titusville, FL, formerly of Claxton, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Daytona was born in Packard, KY, to the late Rev. M.L. and Arizona Woods. Daytona was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Leonard B. Turner. Daytona was the best mother a child could ever have. Daytona was a Brevard county resident since June, 2005. Daytona was also preceded in death by brothers, Onis Woods and Andy Woods; sister, Carmon Morris. Daytona is survived by her son, Marty Turner and wife Melody; granddaughter, Marissa Turner; surrogate grandchildren, Lauren Weeks and Jordan Weeks of Titusville, FL; brothers, Enis Woods of Akron, OH, Rev. Ernest Woods of Oneida, TN, Amos Woods and Marcus Woods of Oak Ridge, TN; sisters, Alice Watson and Agness McClellen of Ten Mile, TN. Daytona is also survived by scores of loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm, Saturday, May 1, at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens with funeral service following at 1:00pm.
