Donald Lee AuBuchon of Clinton, TN passed away on November 2, 2023. Don was born February 9, 1930 in Bonne Terre, MO to Annetta and Ignatius Francis AuBuchon. Don served in the Navy from 1950-1954 during the Korean War. He had been a resident of the Clinton and Oak Ridge area since 1955. Don was one of the founding members of St. Therese's Catholic Church in Clinton and was an active Jaycee member in Clinton. In later years he was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris, TN. Don retired from Martin Marietta in 1992 after 38 years. After retirement, he did consulting work for Alloy Fabrications in Clinton and Machine Products in Powell until 2011.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn Lahay, and brothers in-law Pete Hoezel and 'Junior' Lahay.
Don is survived by his wife, Sally, sister Jeanie Hoezel in Troy, Illinois, daughters Janine (Brian) Riggs and Jennifer (Michael) Fraker, stepson Larry (Cindy) Olsen, stepdaughter Laura (Kurt) Hanisch, and two step great grandsons Steven (Kerry) Hanisch and Leif (Kristen) Hanisch, grandchildren Ashlee (Michael) Mathis, Adam Jennings, Lauren (Josh) Queener, Caroline (Jeremy) Bray, step grandchildren Cissy Riggs (Frank) Satterfield, Jeremy Riggs, and twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris, TN for maintenance or wherever needed, St. Jude's or Gary Sinise Foundation.
Family will begin receiving friends at 9:45AM,Thursday November 9, 2023 at St Francis Episcopal Church in Norris,TN. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 followed by a procession to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery for a graveside service.
