Donald "Poppy" Delph, 80, of Corryton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 27th 2026. He was born October 21, 1945 in Mooresburg, Tennessee. Preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Belle Delph; brothers, Ronald, Howard, and Dennis Delph and sister Rosie Williams. Donald is survived by his beloved wife Janice of 32 years; Brothers Bill and Richard Delph; Sister Lisa Delph Keck; Children Whitney (Zack) Coffey, Kristie (Chris) Caserto, Michelle (Rob) Black, James (Kelly) Delph, Jeff (Regina) Delph, Kathy (Bob) Heifner, and Lori Johnson. Followed by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His legacy of service, love, and dedication will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose humor and warmth touched everyone who knew him. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country and retiring as a Sergeant First Class. Donald served with honor and carried the values of honor, dedication and integrity throughout his life. His wit and joyful spirit made him the heart of every gathering, always ready with a joke or smile to lift the mood of those around him. Donald shared a long and loving marriage with his wife, Janice "Nanny" Delph, who faithfully stood beside him through all of life's joys and challenges.

A receiving of friends and family will be held onThursday, March 5, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a memorial service to follow at Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 160 Edgemoor Road in Powell, Tennessee 37849. Graveside service will be held on Friday March 6, 2026 at 2:00pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
