Donald Lee Lindsey, 80 , of Powell, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018.  A local boy, Donald was born in Powell on August 11, 1937 to Paul and Edna Lindsey. He grew up in the Baptist faith and was a member of Glenwood Baptist.  He served his country in the US Army.  In 1960 Donald started working as a lineman for KUB, and retired in 1996.  He enjoyed traveling, woodwork, following the Vols and the Titans, but his greatest hobby was his garden.  Donald was a jokester and was well loved.  Donald's most memorial phrase was, "10-4 there Good Buddy."

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Edna Lindsey; his siblings, Gene Lindsey and Frances Hackney; grandson, Christopher Munsey and his step-son Luke Gray.

Donald leaves behind his wife of 31 plus years, Sandra Lindsey;  daughters and their husbands, Deborah & Eddie Brown, and Lisa & Phil Leadbetter; his step-son John Gray; his grandchildren, Albert Munsey, Bryan Munsey, and Matt Leadbetter; 9 great grandchildren; his sister & brother –in-law, Joyce & John Smith; a special brother-in-law, Marvin Yarber;  and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with the Funeral Service at 8:00pm.  The interment will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 2:00pm.  Keith Mowery will officiate the service at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
