Doanld "Ray" Yarger

Ray Yarger, age 85, was called home on November 11, 2019 by his Lord and Savior.
Ray was fun loving, kind hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand. He enlisted in the
U.S Army at the age of 18 and fought in the Korean War. He worked for General Motors for 26
years where he retired as a Robotic Technician.
He was a loving and faithful husband for over 63years and a loving father, grandfather and
great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Earl &
Grace Yarger and brothers Merle and Danny Yarger; sister Kay DeCaluwe; Daughter Karen A.
Sellers.

Ray is survived by his wife Beatrice Douglas Yarger; grandchildren; Kendle
Mardis (Chris); Jason Sellers (Lori); Amber Kelley (Jon); great-grandchildren; Aliza, Hayly,
Montana, Sabrya; sisters and brother-in-law; Sheila & George Wyatt and Sandy Yarger
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ray's caregiver Barretta Barnett and
Tennova Hospice nurse Angie Jarnigan for all their loving and compassionate care.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday November 14th, 2019 and a Celebration of Life
Service will follow at 7p.m. with Amanda Madson officiating at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160
