Lloyd, Doris Lee, age 83 of Powell, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Sunday, August 16, 2009. Mrs. Lloyd was one of the founding members of North Clinton Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Howard Lloyd; parents, Lonnie and Nancy Chambers; daughter, Cleda Lloyd. She is survived by her sons, Clarence and wife Hope Lloyd and Clayton and wife Nancy Lloyd; daughters, Clesie Overton, Cathy Coley and friend Jeff Bettrell; grandchildren, Regina Overton-Barnes and husband Rodney, William Monroe Overton III and wife Sheila, James Howard Coley and Marcus Adam Lloyd; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Ashton Barnes, Grayce Addison Barnes, Claudia Cecilia Coley, Cassidy Leann Coley, Shelby Kay Coley and William Gabriel Overton; brother, Tommy Loyd of Oneida; a host of nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 18, from 6-8 pm with funeral service following at 8pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred "Buddy" Long, Jr. officiating.
