Chadwick, Doyle Roger, age 65, of Powell, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009. He was a graduate of Roane County High School, Class of ''61; veteran of U. S. Army, retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2003 after 35 years of service. He was a licensed small plane pilot and member of The Oak Ridge Flyers. He also had a strong passion for the pro-life movement. Doyle is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Hasty; daughter, Christy Long and husband Roger of Trussville, AL; grandsons, Benjamin Long of Camp LeJeune, NC and Zachary Long of Trussville, AL; brothers, Billy N Chadwick of Kingston, TN and Arnold L Chadwick of Grand Prairie, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Inez Chadwick; brother, Tom M Chadwick. The family will receive friends Friday, October 23, from 5-7pm with memorial service to follow at 7pm with Chaplain David Bell, officiating, in the Chapel of Woodhaven Funeral Home.
