Earnest Sammie Adams, 67, of Heiskell, TN., passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  Mr. Adams was born on January 12, 1952, to Elbert and Clara Adams. He was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Heiskell, TN., where he served as a deacon in earlier years and worked as a postal carrier before retiring. Mr. Adams was a Mason and a Vietnam veteran.  He loved to fish and loved all of his family so very much.    He is preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Audrey Adams, and a brother George Adams.

Ernie sends his love from Heaven to his wife of 46 years, Beulah, sons Scott (Andrea) Adams, Dennis (Lauren) Adams, daughter Pam (Kenny) Bailey, grandchildren Reagan Adams, Meredith Adams, Ayden Adams, Olivia Adams, and Jordan Adams, special great nieces Mindy Bailey, Kendra Bowers, and special nieces Stephanie Lusch and Julie Cox, sister Shirley Pierce, brother Fred (Gayle) Adams, "brothers" in law Steve (Nancy) Ray and Dennis (Sandra) Goforth, and a host of extended family that he dearly loved.

Ernie and the family would like to thank Shawna Southard and Amedysis Hospice Care for all of their love and help in these past few weeks.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens with son Scott Adams officiating.
