Covington, Ed, age 72, went to be with the Lord August 3, after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Effie Covington; brother, Leonard Covington. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bonnie Rimmer Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carrie Rimmer'' grandchildren, Kylie, Cade and "Angel" Ashlyn Rimmer; sons, Gregg, Phillip, Christopher; daughter, Vickie; brothers and sisters-in-law,Oscar and Maggie Covington, Lewie and Donna Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Bob Rader, Tilley and Mark Henry; special in-laws, Wanda and George Babb; several nieces and nephews; special friends Tom and Jeff. Special Thanks to Wendy Shock, Carrie Stanford, Staff at Parkwest Hospital, Covenant Hospice. Very special thanks to Lisa, Kim, Ashlyn, Tawanna, Dewayne, Tina and Community Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at Woodhaven Haven Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral to follow at 8 pm with Rev. Teddy Mitchell and Rev. Don Cooper, officiating.
