Dawson, Edna Nell (Nell), age 76, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 11, 2013 in the loving arms of her family. She was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority. She enjoyed gardening, bluegrass music and traveling. She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Charles Golden; parents, Walter Jackson Davis and Delilah Laws Davis. Nell is survived by her husband, Paul Dawson; three children, Walter Cecil Golden, Michael Scott Golden, JaNell Golden; two step-children, Allen Dawson, Debra Kelley, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beulah Lee Allen of Foley, AL, Joyce Marie Godbout of Boston, MA, Flora Lillian Manskow of Gulf Shores, AL, Verba Delia Hutton of Johnson City, TN and families. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Woodhaven Funeral Home from 5-7 with funeral service to follow at 7pm with Rev. Ted Dubs, officiating. Interment will be 10:00am Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Michael Scott Golden, Rez Nia, Maria Nia, Sean Golden, Elizabeth Bucary, Walter Cecil Golden.
