Edward Bolling, 84, of Oak Ridge, TN went home to be when the Lord Monday, October 12, 2015, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Edward was born in Virginia and lived in Tennessee. He was a Marine and served our country honorably during the Korean campaign. After 32 years at ORNL, Edward enjoyed yard work and woodworking. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Claxton. The one word his son think of when describing their father is "COACH".
He was preceded in death by his wife Etta Mae Bolling; his parents, Watson and Donie Bolling; his sister Ruby Yoakum; and brother Bobby Bolling
Edward is survived by his three sons Edward Allen (Lynn) Bolling, David Henry (Debbie) Bolling, and James Drew (Annette) Bolling; his grandchildren Holly (Jacob) Farler, Daniel (Heather) Bolling, William Bolling, Jacobi Bolling, Shea Bolling, Kyle Donovan, Corey Skye and Keith Moore; his great grandchildren Gavin, Elleand Kase Bolling, Ryan, Rebekah Farler, Jayden and Austin Skye; his sister Jeanette Onkst.
The family will be receiving family and friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service at 2:00pm on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
