Elmer Eugene Riggs, age 76, of Powell, Tn. passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was the son of the late Hogan and Elsie Riggs. In earlier years, he worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed his work and playing chess. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son William, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

He is survived by his wife Gretchen, daughter Michelle (Brian) Mitchell, step son George Wright, grandchildren Angela, Patrick and Faith, and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The graveside service will be held Friday, December 18, 2020, at 2:00 PM in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
