Harvey, Esta Fay, age 83, of Heiskell, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011, at her home surrounded by children and grand-children after a long battle with heart failure and kidney disease. She was born February 16, 1928, and was a resident of Heiskell all her life. Fay was a mother of 8 children, grandmother to 29, great-grandmother to 42, great-great-grandmother to 8. She was an avid flower gardener and caregiver to many elderly throughout her life among numerous other professions. She is preceded in death by parents, Bradford & Evelyn Hale; husbands, Buster Whitsell and Woodrow P. Harvey; son, Ralph Eugene Whitsell; sister, Imogene Johnston; brother, Sidney Hale; grand-daughter, Robin Dodson. She is survived by daughters, Janie Queener, Carolyn Metcalf & husband Teddy; sons, Francis Gordon Whitsell & wife Carolyn, Adolph Gerald Whitsell & wife Debbie, Johnny Allen Whitsell & wife Pam, Fred Harvey & wife Tammy, Woodrow Peter Harvey; sister, Jeraldine Raby and family in San Antonio, TX.; a special thank you to caregivers, Lauren, Christy, Tina, and Teresa. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 4, from 6-8pm with funeral services following at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ed Bounds, officiating.
