Eva Sarah Brackin Davis, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Preceded in death by parents Yonley Brackin and Pearl Ownby Brackin, beloved husband, JC Davis (James
Charles), daughters, Teresa Ann Davis Anderson, and Anita Irene Davis Powell. What a joyous heavenly
reunion they all are celebrating now free from pain and loss!
Eva is survived by her daughter, Arlene Davis, cousin Ann Carol Holsonback, and her friends of over 60
years, Diane Lane, Diana McDaniel, and her church family at Hines Valley Baptist Church. Also left to
mourn her passing are grandchildren Kayla Corine Powell, Kendria Eubanks Robinson (Adam), and
Charlie Eubanks, and greatgrandchildren, Eva Corine Powell, Xavier (Zay) Baa, Jordan Baah, and Ashiya
Robinson.
Visitation is Monday, August 5, 2024, at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Garden from 12 noon
until 1:30. A graveside service will follow with Pastor Allen Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Knoxville, a favorite charity of JC and
Eva.
