Evans, Evelyn, 86, of Powell passed away Sept. 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by her son, Ben Evans. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Hillery F. Evans; daughter, Brenda Zielinski and her husband Louis of Niles, IL.; granddaughter, Jamie Zettlmeier and her husband Larry of Arlington Heights, IL.; great grandchildren, Lukas and Sydney; sister, Lola Partin and her husband Charles; brother, Wayne Partin; nieces, Ginger and Heather and special friends, Brenda & Hyatt Lansdell. The family will receive friends wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral to follow at 2 pm.
