Frederick Cara Johnson - age 76 of Knoxville passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Known by most as "Butch", Fred was a 9 year Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary Johnson; brother, Ken, and wife, Connie. Survived by his daughter, Kelley (Stephen) Ellinger, step daughters, Leanne (Marty) Berry, Angie Ledbetter, special friend, Beth Johnson, grandchildren, Ryan Doster, Lindsey (Nick) Clevenger, Aaron (Haley) Doster, Christian Morgan, Jessica Ledbetter, Chase Berry, too many Nieces, Nephews, and great grandchildren to mention. Special thanks to Kenneth Johnson for his support during this time of loss. A Military Memorial Service will be scheduled at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.
