Gerald Wayne Forsythe, 75 , of Loudon, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018.  Gerald was born December 5, 1942 in St. Louis to Roy & Ruth Forsythe. He was a member of My Father's House Church of God in Lenoir City.  Over the years, Gerald worked in Farming, Construction, and at the Sawmill.  He enjoyed fishing and camping in his free time.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

Gerald leaves behind his wife, Welma Forsythe; his daughter, Charlotte Forsythe; two sons, Gerald Wayne (Chase) Boatwright, and James Ronald (Lisa) Forsythe; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and host of friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.  Pastor David Thompson will officiate the Funeral Service which will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00am at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.  After the service the family invites you to the interment at 12:00pm at Anderson Memorial Gardens, 640 Oliver Springs Highway, Clinton, TN 37716.  The Palbearers are Alvin Forsythe, Ryan Forsythe, Dylan Forsythe, Johnny Frawley, Joe Cannon, and Barrett Braden.
