Conaway, Gisela Margareta, born July 29, 1930, in Mannheim, Germany, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010. She is predeceased by parents, sister and husband of 47 years, Paul R. Conaway. Survivors include daughter, Lucinda Craig (David); son, Paul Riley, Jr.; grandson, Paul Nodine (Julie); granddaughters, Meredith Nodine and Bobbi Given (Travis); six great-grandchildren; goddaughter, Jennifer Hamon (Chris); sister-in-law, Lola Byrd; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Her life was devoted to caring for her husband and family. She enjoyed preparing German food for family and friends. A longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church, she served as coordinator of monthly meetings for senior adults for several years. The family would like to give "Special Thanks" to the NHC Staff and Dr. John Foust & staff. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Saturday, March 13, at Faith Lutheran Church of Oak Ridge with memorial service at 2pm.
