Gretchen Maree Riggs 74 of Powell, passed away on August 21, 2024. She was a member of the Claxton Church of Christ and Jacksboro Church of Christ, she carried her faith throughout her life. Gretchen was an avid quilter having a love for sewing. She was preceded in death by Elmer Riggs her husband of 45 years, son; William Riggs and parents; Charles and Evelyn Thomas. She is survived by her daughter; Michelle (Colby) Kopp, son; George (Tammy) Wright, sister; Sheila (Randy) Riggs, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren. A graveside service will held  11:00am Friday August 23, 2024 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens 160 Edgemoor Road in Powell.
