Stewart, Gwendolyn "Gwen", age 85, of Powell passed away Friday, August 7, 2009, at St. Mary''s Medical Center. She was a member of Church Street Church of Christ, Lewisburg, TN. She enjoyed traveling and reading. Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, David Stewart; infant son, Richard Daniel Stewart; parents, Erskine & Sally Florence Sanders; brother, Norman Sanders; sister, Pat Luger; nephew, Dan Sanders. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Tyree of Powell; granddaughter, Debi Tyree Haney and husband Craig of Knoxville; grandson, Mark Tyree of Knoxville; great-granddaughters, Jessica, Allie and Dinah Haney of Knoxville. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 10, at 2pm CST (3pm EST) at Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville, TN. Pallbearers will be: Craig Haney, John Miller and R.T. Haney.
