Moore, Hazel M., age 94, of Claxton, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, at her home. Ms. Moore was a member of Haven Chapel United Methodist Church, 220 Raccoon Valley Road, Powell. She is preceded in death by her father & mother, Alan and Lillie Moore; daughter, Lillie B. McCaskill; son-in-law, Clarence M. McCaskill; brothers, Luther and Cornelius Moore; sisters, Berline Ellis, Mary Bell Moore, Thressa Atwater and Dorothy Bobo. She is survived by her son, Charles Ellis, granddaughter, Cheryl (Masahiro) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Keyara, Masahiro II and Lily Midori; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; special nieces, Sharon Bobo, Beulah Wells and Cindy Soles; adopted daughter, Scarlette McCollum. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 9 from 1-2 pm at Haven Chapel United Methodist Church with funeral service following at 2 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Leah K. Burns.
