Herbert G Heiser , 90, of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 3, 2015. He was a faithful member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He served our country as an honorable member of the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents John & Mable Heiser; his wife Helen Heiser; brothers Hubert Heiser ,Allen Heiser and John Heiser ; his daughter-in-law Becky Heiser; his great grandson Conner Lamb;
He is survived by his loving children Dennis Heiser and Renae & husband Calvin Metcalfe; his grandchildren Derrick (Jennifer) Lamb and children, and Matthew Lamb; and his very special Lady of the past 15 years, Mildred Carr.
Pall bears will be Patrick Keck, Mike Groner, Leslie Heiser, Steve Heiser and Ed Helper
The family will receive family and friends Sunday November 8, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Rd. Powell, TN 37849. Rev. Louis Branch will officiate the funeral service at 10:30 am Monday November 9, 2015 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 4211 Plesant Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN 37912. After the service there will not be a procession, all will meet at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a full Military Honor interment at 12:00pm.
