Hershel Howard Loveday, 77, of Rockwood,TN passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2021.  Mr. Loveday was born on May 26, 1943 in Clinton, TN to Howard and Louise Loveday. He attended Pine Orchard Baptist Church.  He retired from the U.S. Army reserves after 22 years.  Mr. Loveday worker for over 50 years for Adams Craft Herz Walker Engineering of Oak Ridge  Mr. Loveday enjoyed working with stain glass, working in his yard and, loved playing with the dogs.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Betty Wise.

Mr. Loveday is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Loveday; his two sons, James (Sarah) Loveday and Douglas Loveday; his grandchildren, Ryan Loveday, Reagan Loveday, Ethen Loveday, and Briley Loveday and his great-granddaughter Valerie Loveday. He is also survived by his 3 step-sons; 8 additional grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy (Larry) Dishman and Carolyn (Jim) Phillips; plus a nephew and several nieces along with other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 25 ^th between 5:00pm-7:00pm. The graveside service will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday, January 26 ^th .  All services will be held at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
