OLIVER, HOLLY - 71, of Knoxville, passed away December 30, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Frances Painter. Survived by two sons, Ken Oliver (Susan) of Clinton, TN, and Rob Oliver of Danville, VA, and five grandchildren: Daniel, John, Christian, Joseph and Eliza. Graveside service will be held at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton at3:00 pm, Thursday, July 3, 2014. Pastor Alex Stephens officiating. Woodhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Holly was born in Wilmington, DE, on December 22, 1942, as the youngest of five children. She attended the University of Delaware for one year, prior to joining the U.S. Navy and serving for two years. She was married in 1962 and had two children. Holly lived in numerous places as a Navy wife, including Alaska and California. She later graduated from Prince George''s Community College (MD) with an Associate''s Degree in Nursing and became a registered nurse in multiple states. She was always very helpful to strangers and kind to animals. Holly lived in the Knoxville area for the last 15 years.
