Hugh "Popeye" Fox, age 82, of Clinton, TN., passed away Friday, October 12, 2018.   He was the son of the late William Andrew Fox, Sr. and Minnie Ellington Fox. He was a concrete finisher and attended Clinton Church of God, where he enjoyed playing the french harp.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anna Loretta Fox, brothers Bill Fox, Glenn Fox, and Ken Fox, sisters Geraldine Stanford and Jean Armstrong.

Popeye is survived by sons Charlie (Jaime) Fox, Steven (Heather) Fox, daughter JoAnna (Gary) Riner, sisters Wilma Raines, Myrtle Moretz, and Pat Garner, brothers Bobby Fox, Don Fox, and John Fox, grandchildren Felicia, Samantha, Elizabeth, Samuel, Daniel, Gabe, Nathan, Adam, and Kennedi, 3 great grandchildren Boone, Cecil, and Branch, 2 great grandchildren on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Hugh's best friend, Billy Norman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Clinton Church of God, 635 Hillcrest Street, Clinton, TN.  37716.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM with a funeral service to follow, officiated by Pastor Don Fox.  Following the service, a potluck dinner will be served in memory of Popeye.
