Jackie R. Moyers, age 81, left this earth for his Heavenly Home on June 11, 2023. He was a
retired meat cutter, an avid fisherman, a deep thinker, and a man of few words who loved his
family deeply; along with his church family at Wallace Memorial Baptist. Preceded in death by
his parents, Jack and Pauline Moyers along with his father and mother in law, Melvin and
Charlene Tipton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Tipton Moyers; daughter, Dr. Kimberly Moyers; son
Chris (Gayla) Moyers; granddaughter, Sierra Moyers.
Sisters Brenda (Don) Kivett and Dorothy Farmer. Brothers and sisters in law, Phil (Effie) Tipton
and Fred (Shirley) Tipton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family
members.

Pallbearers: Chris Moyers, Curtis Farmer, Phil Tipton, Fred Tipton, Steve McCloud and Bobby
Bryant.

Visitation will be at noon on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Woodhaven Funeral Home and
Memorial Gardens in Powell. Service will begin at 2 with burial to follow.
