Roberts, Jackson Norman, age 87, of Clinton, passed away Monday, February 4, 2008, at his home. He was a member of the Clinton Church of God and served in the US Army. Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mable Walker Roberts and brother, Clyde Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Lelia Mae Roberts; sons, Larry and Beverly Roberts, Richard & Sue Roberts, Thomas L., Norman Leon, and John David Roberts, all of Clinton; daughter, June Corder of Clinton; brother, Blake Roberts; sisters, Louella Farmer, Clara Sigmon and Violet Vandergriff; grandchildren, Steve, Barry and Michael Corder, Greg, William, Jessica Roberts, and Lori Taylor; 3 great-grandchildren, Chesnie, Brent, and Caden. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6 from 6-8pm with funeral service to follow at 8pm with Rev. Curtis Akers, officiating, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be Thursday, February 7, at 10:00 am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
