James Preston Bradley, 78 , of Knoxville, TN, passed away, Wednesday, February 1, 2018.  Jim is a local kid, born in Knoxville, TN on August 13, 1939 to Curt & Bellauh Bradley.  He joined the Air Force in the late 1950s were he served as a mechanic, and then applied those skills into his career at Kenworth as a diesel mechanic.   Jim loved to deer hunt, garden, camp, and watch NASCAR; but his true love was his family.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Velma; his son Eddie Williams, and his two brothers.

He is survived by his children, James Bradley, Doug Bradley, Kathy (James) Brooks, and Debbie Bradley (Willie Morris); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister Peggy Dugan; his best friend, Rufus Pruitt; and several nieces, nephews and other family & friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Physicians Regional for the excellent care and hospitality

Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6pm – 8pm, with a Funeral Service at 8pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN.  Pastor Junior Elliot will officiate the service.  The interment will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 12pm, Noon, at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
