James William Davis, age 82, of Clinton, Tn., passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020. A native of Williamsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John and Bertha Bryant Davis. He was a painter and in earlier years enjoyed gardening, fishing, and raising chickens.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Edna Davis, two brothers Grover Davis and Frank Davis, and a sister Nell Haney.

James is survived by his children Phyllis (Sam) Gault, Carolyn (Doug) Lively, Norma (Donnie) Greene, Jonathan Davis, Zachary Parker and his wife, grandchildren Elizabeth Davis, James King, Brittany Davis, Ronnie Greene, Jacqueline Greene, 10 great grandchildren, brother Wilkey Davis, sister Virginia Harvey, sister Bonnie West, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 11:00 AM in Oliver Springs City Cemetery.
