James Howard Grantham, 86, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. James was born February 14, 1931 to James & Nettie Grantham. After the Korean War, where he served his country in the Army and Navy, James returned home and married Willa Bond. He loved to teach his three boys how to camp, fish and to love the outdoors. James worked at Y-12 for over 30 years as a Machinist and Inspector. After he retired in the mid 1980s, Willa & James enjoyed traveling this great country of ours for many years.
James is survived by his wife Willa; his three sons & their wives, Howard & Michelle Grantham, Ralph & Zoelena Grantham, and Ken Grantham & Connie Cannon; three grandchildren, David, Rhiana, and Ryder; plus many other family and friends.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm, Noon, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
